What is a breaker?
Breakers are a safety device. The are designed to protect the electrical device receiving the electricity and also the wiring in your home. When a breaker is trips, there is always a reason and it should be taken seriously.
Breaker keep tripping?
One common cause of a tripped breaker is a loose circuit. This can be resolved quickly through tightening the connections. Remember to never attempt to tighten, remove or replace a breaker on your own. This should only be done by a certified electrician. There is severe risk of electrocution and also damage to your homes electrical system that could result in an electrical fire.
If a breaker continues to trip after it has been reset, don't ignore the issue and continue to reset the breaker each time. If this is happening, the breaker is telling you something!
